halloween parade

today was the halloween parade in our neighborhood.  vera was a little worried about all the scary costumes at first.  mom carried her for most of the parade... despite having a wagon AND a stroller with us, and two perfectly good legs for her to walk on...

she warmed up once we got to the park and she saw the juice and treats available...

we invited archie and annabelle to join us and got some nice pictures of all three of them together

first pedicure

vera got her first 'pedi' a few weeks ago.  mom got one, and came home and vera was quite fascinated with mommy's colored toenails,  so we painted her toes too! red toes! pedicures a big hit with vera - i have a feeling there will be many more in our future

from a little while ago, but somehow missed getting posted - vera helped make pink princess cupcakes for daddy's birthday!

grandma and mom took vera, finley, and cousin caroline to milburn orchards.  we'll have a few days of posts for this adventure.  first up - the petting zoo.

we went on a hayride that aunt eryn was volunteering as the queen of hearts.  vera loved the hayride and tractor! she wasn't so sure about aunt eryn's costume though ;)

a visit with allison

we visited with my cousin allison who is much closer in age to vera than me :)

there was a slide, a playhouse, a swing, and a huge roll of paper for coloring - we will be visiting again!

archie's bday

our friend archie's 3rd bday party included some arts and crafts - painting pumpkins!!

and of course trying to get a picture of all the kids together was like trying to herd cats...
