vera got a balance bike for her birthday... vera and dad have been testing it out in the driveway recently...

little gym

vera shares her birthday with her friend annabelle (who is one year older).  so after vera had her own birthday brunch, that afternoon, we headed to the little gym for annabelle's birthday party!  busy day!

vera's birthday party was a casual little brunch for some friends and family...

vera loved the animals and telling us what sounds they make.   

and once she finally got brave enough to feed the goats, she thought it was pretty darned funny. 

she never would feed that cow though.  only mommy could feed the cow.  not vera.

dad and vera on an airplane ride.  unfortunately (luckily?) no pictures of mom squeezing her enormous belly into that same ride with vera the night before.

mom and dad went to a phillies game and brought vera home a hat.  that second picture is a frequent shot we get - "mommy,let me see the picture you just took of vera" as she walks out of the picture that i'm attempting to take...

swimming

i'm sure there will be plenty of swimming pictures this summer - vera is a big fan of the pool!

we put Vera to work washing the truck!  after working for a little bit, she decided she was a better supervisor than a laborer.
