placenta tree

we planted a tree this past weekend and buried vera's placenta under it. we hope the placenta which provided nourishment and helped vera grow, will do the same for the tree in our yard.

this past weekend we visited cousin j for his 5th birthday party. we also saw other cousins, nana, grandpa, and lots of other family.

vera's first 5k

vera participated in her first 5k, in the rain no less... we walked it and finished in 1:01 - so there's only room for improvement in her next 5k! :)

eagles fan

unfortunately for her, vera was born into a family of eagles fans. she got to experience cheering for them for the first time today. at least she was dressed cutely.
