dad strikes again

we also had a coworker, wife, and kids visit us this weekend. girls only picture:

we had a visitor over the weekend, margot - she is 3 weeks older than vera. they are totally going to have a girl band together when they are old enough to play instruments. for now they just hung out on the bouncy chairs.

vera had a bunch of vaccines on thursday - two shots on each leg and an oral vaccine too. she was a miserable little girl for the majority of the day. but luckily woke up on friday back to her normal happy self. picture of her battle wounds:

we went to a frank lloyd wright house, falling water, with my aunt patti. when we got there, we were informed that vera was not allowed in the house with us (?!?!) - because we might fall while we carried her... ummm ok. so jp and i took turns taking the tour. afterwards, we all got some pictures outside.

when it was time for a bath, since there were no bathtubs at camp, we went into the kitchen and found a perfectly sized chafing dish to give vera her bath. worked out great.

vera was a little angel sleeping in the tent. she had her own little bed in the tent, but definitely got some good snuggle time with me since it got pretty chilly at night - we both appreciated the body heat!

christmas... in august?

john paul has made it his goal to dress vera in the clothing that i would never pick out.
hence, we have vera in a christmas onesie in august. but with her cuteness, she can pull it off.

visiting cousins

we visited cousins caroline and andrew today and went out for lunch. and took some pictures afterwards, where andrew got to hold vera for some of the pictures.
