vera also got a belle dress and was pretty stoked for the disney parade at our magic kindom trip...

 (after we saved our seats at the parade, vera and another kid spent the 20 minute wait for the parade to start streaming video on cell phones) (actually i felt a little silly handing her my phone so we could just zone out a few minutes, until i saw all the other kids waiting and looking at phones too, sign of the times? awesome parenting?)

Class trip

Vera had her first class trip! A trip to the opera house in Wilmington for a play. This is her crew at school: 

The kids got to ride a school bus (for the first time ever!!) and watch the show. Mom was a chaperone. The whole day was fun for everyone!

Nature center

There's a cute little nature center and trail at the riverfront in Wilmington. Went there this weekend to enjoy a sunny afternoon that wasn't -10 degrees.
