return from our two week hiatus...

vera has this toy, where the doors open and an animal pops up. she has this OBSESSION that the doors must be shut. if she is busy across the room and notices that a door is open, she'll stop anything and make sure all the doors are shut. it's pretty cute. (and as awesome parents, we of course egg her on by opening the doors all the time to make her have to shut them)

and all is right in the world....

bear crawl

vera finds the bear crawl (hands and feet) much more efficient than regular crawling (hands and knees). she wants to walk so badly!

uh oh... someone either had too much to drink or gets motion sickness just like her mommy...

ottoman of toys

vera has a whole ottoman of toys in the living room. she can now pull herself up to standing and dig out the toys she wants. i didn't get a picture of this - but sometimes she digs so deep that she rests her belly on the side and lifts her feet up off the ground - super cute!
