Vera did her second 5k - a much improved time - we did a 46 minute one this time. we (I) ran about 1.25 miles of it to make our pace much faster! but it did rain again. maybe next time we will actually have nice weather!

we visited grandpa's blood bank open house this weekend of the new additions and renovations completed over the last couple of years.

grandma visited today and in between making quiche, baking cookies, two stroller walks, naptimes, and playtime, they read some books together.

trick or treating

we went out trick or treating in the neighborhood for a little bit with our friends/neighbors. or i guess it was basically just walking around dressed up since we didn't actually get candy for the baby ;)

vera dressed up as yoda this year for halloween, cutest 900 year old ever! aunt sarah made the hat for her (yay! thank you!) aunt sarah also made a sweater shown in the last picture below. but vera preferred the scarf we wrapped around her for trick or treating. a little warmer and comfier for her. but overall, successful first halloween! (some family trick or treating pictures tomorrow)
